The Golden Tether

When stepping off the boat, just before taking the stairs up to the Main Hall of The Golden Tether, a sturdy sandwich board could be seen. Here different bits of information were tick-tacked on. Some pasted on top of old news, nailed, pinned or glued.

Staff and patrons announcements can be found here. Please keep the posts to a reasonable length - something that may actually be posted on a cork-board. Every month or so the Corkboard is cleared of postings.
You can also make a post over here, and by doing so it'll alert everyone who is in the RPR Group.

So! Are you wanting to hold your own event? Show or arena fight? And have it emitted dream wide?

We encourage it!

But before it can actually happen there are a few things you need to know...

Before you get started, the first thing you need to do is whisper a OOC Staff Member. Run your idea by them - depending upon the size of the event TGT Staff are required to attend. When the event can be run depends upon the availability of the OOC Staff Member. We like OOC Staff Members to be at the event, or at least online, so they can deal with any OOC problems that may arise.
Try to keep the event as simple as possible. The longer and larger the event, sometimes the harder to put together and keep together.

Arena Fights
All actively advertised arena fights require that you use the TGT Battle Dice System. If your character is having a simple one on one fight, not a tournament or competition, you don't have to use the battle dice. An OOC Staff member will only emit once for you.

If you are wanting to hold a tournament or something more complex which requires multiple emits and direct involvement of TGT, we require you to use the dice system. This also goes for any and all fights or tournaments being directly run by TGT.

A final note, try to keep your fight posts quick and to the point, and not larger then the text box in the Furcadia window. The longer you take to post, the more likely your crowd will start to lose interest.

Stage Shows
Stage Shows cover a wide variety of things! Anything from public slave training/punishment, dances, striptease's, sex shows, or.. well, nearly anything that is entertaining and doesn't belong in the arena!

We have a few suggestions when it comes to Stage Shows. Be prepared and try to keep your posts quick and not too long. The longer you take to post the more the audience will start to lose interest in your show.

If your Stage Show is extremely graphic, make sure it is known in the emits - so people who don't (or do?) want to watch it are pre-warned, and don't have/will to attend! All graphic shows of any nature should be restricted to the big *stage and not the main hall stage.

Emits
You've gotten approval to run your show. OOC Staff can help out by emitting for you. You can write out your own emits - however, OOC Staff may edit it before emitting depending upon the content. Please keep it short and to the point, avoid excessive italics, bolds, and smiley faces. You only get one emit, 15 minutes to half hour before the event.
Otherwise, you're good to go!

Calendar
Once you've had your event approved by Management you can get it posted up on the RPR Calendar. Please whisper Muunokhoi/Loraen/Gypsium to have it posted.
